Recipients of your personal data

Personal data may be communicated to external entities processing data on our behalf as data processors, which have been provided with specific instructions on the processing of your data, or as autonomous data controllers.

In particular, your data may be communicated (i) to the company providing the Matomo Cloud platform (InnoCraft Ltd) used to carry out aggregate statistics, as well as (ii) to the provider of the cookie consent management platform (CMP), which also provides IT and support services for the Site (as data processors).

Moreover, data may be accessed by Authorities and institutions to which the right to access the data is granted by law or regulations (as autonomous data controllers).

Data transfer

VBC stores the data on servers located within the European Union.

Due to the location of the Matomo application provider (InnoCraft Ltd), the data will be transferred to New Zealand, a country recipient of an Adequacy Decision of the European Commission.

If VBC, due to future needs related to the headquarters or processing locations of its providers, needs to transfer data outside the European Union to countries for which the European Commission has not issued an Adequacy Decision, VBC undertakes to guarantee adequate levels of protection and safeguards, including contractual ones, compliant with the applicable laws, including the adoption of standard contractual clauses, supplemented if necessary by additional technical, legal and organizational measures necessary to ensure that the level of protection of personal data is equivalent to the one of the European Union.

Persistence of cookies on your device

There are different types of cookies that, depending on their characteristics and functions, may persist on your device for different periods of time: so-called session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser, while so-called persistent cookies remain on your device for a variable, albeit predetermined, period of time.
