Vitale Barberis Canonico

In the search for new fabrics and new performance, with OFFLIMITS Vitale Barberis Canonico crosses boundaries and enters “forbidden” territories, going beyond formalwear.

Wool is being renewed, it is taking on new functionalities, it is being blended with research fibres, with recycled polymers in a hybridisation process which gives a new light to a natural raw material that Vitale Barberis Canonico has been processing with competence and great passion for more than 350 years. Wool, which is already unique, innovative, renewable and biodegradable, is further enriched and transformed, it becomes fluid to satisfy new, contemporary demands.

HYBRID
Innovation incubator

Hybrid is the theatre of the most advanced research by Vitale Barberis Canonico: a hotbed of ideas where the various strands of study for increasingly performant fabrics come together. The wool hybridisation process is enhanced in innovative blends with carbon or with Cordura® and high tenacity polyamide yarns. The Wrinkled Wool fabrics, designed to keep their permanent creases over time, stand out for their eye-catching look.

NEXT-GEN
Technicity which looks to the future

The newborn family unites technicity and sensitivity to environmental matters, using state-of-the-art technical fibres: the thinnest of polyester or recycled polyamide yarns and a yarn in polyamide with accelerated degradation. These yarns form a resistant warp on which the weft is created in wool to obtain light and consistent fabrics with the look and hand of wool. Unique quality to which stretch is added.
