Vitale Barberis Canonico has always sought to respect and protect people, avoiding any kind of discrimination and considering diversity a resource, with a commitment enshrined in the company’s Code of Ethics.
The Company embraces the fundamental principles that inspired the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities adopted by the UN on 13 December 2006 and ratified by Italy in 2009, namely Respect for dignity, individual autonomy and the ability to make one’s own choices, as well as non-discrimination, full participation social inclusion and equal opportunities.
In the spirit of the Convention, Vitale Barberis Canonico has embarked on a journey to improve the accessibility of this website and has done its utmost to ensure the full usability of its contents, regardless of the physical and sensory capabilities of the users visiting it.
This site observes the WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines for website development.
In particular, validators were used to check compliance with the accessibility guidelines and a working group of people with disabilities (impaired vision and hearing and reduced mobility in the upper limbs) was set up to advise the developers on improvements to be made.
For technical reasons, it was not possible to optimise all parts of the site. However, numerous changes have been made, in particular to the graphic layout, keyboard navigation, links, images, etc.
Users may, at any time, report any problems of non-compliance with accessibility requirements by sending an email to: email@example.com.
To maximise cooperation in solving these problems, the email should indicate
- name and surname
- email address
- URL of the web page being reported
- clear and concise description of the problem encountered and/or a screenshot of the problem in question
- tools used (operating system, browser, assisted technologies)
A reply will be provided as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days of receipt.
Accessibility verification was carried out by Yeah, a social cooperative specialising in services for accessibility and inclusion, which has issued the declaration of accessibility provided here.
