Pasquale, Michele, Marcello: the founder, the explorer and the tailor. For the Sabino family, theirs has been a tailoring tradition since 1928, when Grandfather Michele opened a workshop in Piazza Nicola Amore. This workshop was closed as a result of the death of the founder during World War II. But Pasquale had grown up during those years and decided to follow in his father’s footsteps. After having worked with various maestros of that period, including Angelo Blasi, in 1959, when he was only 18 years old, he opened his atelier in Piazza dei Martiri. From that moment on, the name Sabino became synonymous with Neapolitan tailoring, with values which, in collaboration with his sons Michele and Marcello, are exported from London to Monte Carlo, from New York to Doha, even to Azerbaijan. In this way, the Sabino family contribute to the spread of Neapolitan excellence throughout the world. In the 1980s, Maestro Pasquale inaugurated the Casalnuovo di Napoli atelier, where production was transferred into the larger premises in Via Napoli. And it is here that, thanks to their expert hands, garments are created which are the expression of quality, service and meticulousness, fundamental values for the Sabino family.
