His real name is Noriyuki Ueki, but for his customers, whether from Japan or other countries, his name is simply “Ciccio”. A name which has nowadays become almost a brand because he is so famous in the Far East. In his city-centre atelier in Minato-ku, he creates bespoke clothes for gentlemen from Asia and all over the world.
He learnt his skills from the maestro Antonio Pascariello, a dramatic Neapolitan tailor who has turned out numerous stars of the bespoke such as Noriyuki Higashi and Jun Byong Ha.
The Ciccio style in reality does have a Neapolitan flavour filtered through a Japanese vision of the world, breathing life into soft volume jackets with rigorously clean lines.
