During London Craft Week the Vitale Barberis Canonico wool mill collaborates with the British luggage maker, Globe-Trotter to demonstrate intricate time-honoured craftsmanship skills, using methods which have remained unchanged for the past 120 years.
The collaboration will introduce a set of bespoke luggage cases covered in Vitale Barberis Canonico’s H.O.P.E fabrics – the latest sustainable fabric range. H.O.P.E. (acronym of How to Optimise People and Environment) demonstrates that a sustainable range of fabrics can be created using natural recycled fibres or plant fibres without surrendering quality.
Cases in three different sizes have been created, ranging from the smallest 7” London Square size, followed by a 14” Mini Attaché Case, to Globe-Trotter’s most popular 20” Trolley Case with all three cases finished with a co-branded leather patch positioned in the interior of the lid.
The collection will be on display during London Craft Week (30th September – 10th October, 2020) at the Globe-Trotter flagship stores at Burlington Arcade, 51 Piccadilly, London W1J 0QJ, UK.
