On Thursday, 26th November 2015, the Vitale Barberis Canonico wool mill celebrated fabrics and Italian sartorial elegance at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo with an exclusive event entitled “The Celebration of Fine Fabrics, Italian Elegance and Sartorial Style”.
The evening, aimed at a select Japanese audience, is a presentation of the mill which has been producing fabrics of the highest quality for men’s garments for many generations. A long history which is conveyed by the best tailors in Italy who have interpreted three of the iconic fabrics from the wool mill (Original Woollen Flan- nel, 4-ply Twist and Superbio) to create exclusive garments.

The evening has commenced with the greetings by Ambassador Domenico Giorgi which has been followed by a conversation with the three best, internationally-famous Italian tailors, Antonio Liverano, Antonio Panico and Franco Prinzivalli, who have been asked to talk about their careers and the meaning of “Italian style” and “haute couture”.
