PANTONE Flannels

For the first time, a textile manufacturer, Vitale Barberis Canonico collaborates with PANTONE, the global colour authority and provider of professional colour language standards to identify the colour PANTONE 19-4241 Moroccan Blue for their iconic worsted and woollen flannels for the A/W 23 season.
The colour is declined in cool tones which are reminiscent of the autumn and the approach of winter, and they take us on a time-travel to the cities of Morocco where such cerulean blues are to be seen everywhere and shades of blue are used to decorate the typical clothes worn by the nomadic populations of the Sahara.
Flannel, in the two versions of worsted and woollen, is usually proposed in classic colours for menswear, from medium greys to blues through to beige and brown, but it now takes on the colour PANTONE 19-4241 Moroccan Blue with a more intense, contemporary look, ideal for fluid, broken suits without compromising on either the fabric’s distinguishing character or style; a fabric which has always been considered a must-have for every man’s wardrobe. This collaboration is presented in the wool mill’s showroom at via Solferino 23 in
Milano on 7th September on the occasion of the Fuorisalone during the Milan Design Week. A tribute to the world of design and art for which Pantone is the most important point of reference at an international level.
Both versions of this flannel will be available to Vitale Barberis Canonico customers and for tailors and made-to-measure stores through Drapers Italy.
