On Tuesday, 18th June in their showroom, Vitale Barberis Canonico, the official sponsor of the Three-Year School of men’s and women’s tailoring at the National Academy of Tailors, the students have the opportunity of displaying their creations, their talents and their capabilities.

Thanks to the iconic fabrics supplied by Vitale Barberis Canonico, all the students, according to their individual talents, have created formal and cocktail wear previewed at the showroom in Via Solferino 23.

The wool mill’s fabrics with which the young people have produced their creations are the iconic Perennial, the fabric for work suits par excellence, which offers plains and classic designs in a wide range to guarantee equilibrium and measure while still expressing one’s own style; and Wool & Mohair, a classic for menswear in which Vitale Barberis Canonico has always excelled. South African Mohair selected directly at auction in Cape Town is spun in a skilled blend to obtain plains in which the black weft, as in the English tradition, adds an energetic, nonchalant touch, but also in decidedly urbane stripes or the subtle checks of the Prince of Wales designs for day or travelling suits.

Thanks to the valuable contribution made by Vitale Barberis Canonico, one of the oldest textile manufacturers in the world, the students have worked with materials of the highest quality, learning about the characteristics of such exquisite fabrics, and understanding how to choose the right one for each creation.
