Vitale Barberis Canonico is collaborating with the classic English hat makers, Lock & Co Hatters in a men’s capsule with some of the wool mill’s fabrics, on sale at the brand’s historical shop in London’s St. James’s Street and e-commerce channels.

The collection is divided into three different models, the most famous and well sold by Lock & Co., and has a wealth of colour nuances which reflect the great historical heritage of both brands.

In the model VBC X Lock Alberto Bucket Cap there is Melton Coat. As a result of its heavier weight of 550 g, this fabric is also suitable for raw cut edges, and has been created to confront the rigid temperatures of the winter months.

In the hat VBC X Lock Francesco Baker Boy Cap we find the Fancy Coat weave with a slubbed effect in the warp obtained using an irregular silk and wool yarn, and the weave with a bouclé yarn to create an uneven, three-dimensional effect.

The model VBC X Lock Vitale Flat Cap is available in Covert, worsted Batavia weave in a winter weight with a compact, satin hand and visible ribbing, steep diagonals and marbled effect.

The collaboration between Vitale Barberis Canonico and Lock & Co., established in 1676 and the oldest hat makers in the world, is only natural considering the fact that both brands have remained in the respective families for more than 600 years combined.
