Vitale Barberis Canonico has reopened with its own values, People, Environment and Product as a starting point, presenting the second edition of the Sustainability Report.

In 2019, the virtuous initiatives were multiplied, with particular importance given to the achieving of the objective, set at the end of 2018, regarding the adoption of a voluntary, formalised Integrated QSE Management System (Quality, Safety, Environment) which is certified by a third party.

Vitale Barberis Canonico also introduced a Chemical Management system focused on the management of chemical substances in compliance with the MRSL of the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation.

Also in 2019, the first range of sustainable fabrics was launched with the name H.O.P.E., acronym of How to Optimise People and Environment, another testimony of the Company’s work in relation to caring for people and nature.

In the new edition of the Sustainability Report, the Company thus seeks to focus on these fundamental values, by supplying real data in the fields of valorisation of people and their professionalism, of occupational health and safety, protection of the environment, respect for the surrounding territory and of product responsibility.
