Vitale Barberis Canonico presents “Superkaleido” for the new SS2022

In a whirlwind of changes and emotions, for its new fabric collection for Spring/Summer 2022, the Vitale Barberis Canonico wool mill has been thinking of a man who has come back to life to find himself confronted by different, alternating or even overlapping situations: riding an by electric scooter, working from home, driving his car or taking his dog for a walk. In order to make the most of all these activities, he wants to wear clothes which provide comfort and the maximum movement, while not forsaking style and perfection. He experiences these different contexts as “multicolour” and “multiform” as if in a kaleidoscope, which has become a metaphor for the versatility of life in the 2020s. This is where the concept for the new Spring/Summer 2022 collection originates, namely SuperKaleido, a “kaleidoscopic” concept with articles in stretch taken from the Supersonic range by Vitale Barberis Canonico, created for functional, seasonless garments which lend themselves to the most diverse of occasions and whose raison d’être is comfort.
The Supersonic range, created for the contemporary man who moves in the world both for pleasure and for work, experiencing different places and different climates, highlights to the point of extremity the elasticity and comfort that comes with it. To achieve this, only the best raw materials are used, while introducing new ones and retaining maximum quality, which has always been the most important prerequisite for the historical Biellese company.
