Vitale Barberis Canonico is celebrating its 360th anniversary by collaborating with the Caruso brand, a symbol of outstanding Italian know-how and the country’s tailoring tradition. The capsule will be presented during Pitti Uomo at Galleria Secci in Florence.
From the volumes in its own historical archives, Vitale Barberis Canonico, together with Caruso, has selected ten patterns that represent the spirit and taste of their times, one for each stage of the woollen mill’s centuries-long history.
Revisited and updated to suit contemporary styles, these patterns live again in The Saxon Club. flannel, recreated in pure Saxon Merino wool: a capsule collection that represents a compendium of men’s fashion over four centuries.
The Saxon Club. flannel comes alive in the Aida jacket, born from the Caruso sartorial tradition and know-how. Fully canvas, unlined, and designed to ensure maximal freedom of movement, it combines comfort with a contemporary style.
Its characteristics are perfect for making the most of Vitale Barberis Canonico’s 100% Saxon Merino flannel, in a garment in which a unique fibre complements masculine elegance.
